Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

■ Got the bye-week blues? This video of De'Anthony's best plays from last season might help ease the pain until next week's Cal game.

■ Brian Libby wonders if Oregon football received validation on the first Monday Night Football of the season and might be a building block for obtaining recruits.

■ Dale Newton believes running the gauntlet won't be easy as we head into Pac-12 play.

■ Andrew Greif says Johnny Mundt's hard work and "mean streak" has put him in line to be Oregon's next great tight end.

Pac-12 defensive coaches are hastily reworking game plans in realization that, yes, Oregon has yet another offensive weapon. One with shaggy hair who stands 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, and planned on using the bye week to take a laid-back drive with friends, or possibly go spearfishing. One who, when asked what the most important thing to convey about him is, replied, “I’m not all about football.” And one whose ho-hum attitude is everything his team’s loud persona is not, yet whose on-field “mean streak” and quick rise mirrors these Ducks perfectly.

Okay...I have seen nothing to make me think that the Pac-12 is going to do anything other than fold under Oregon. I think we'll have one reasonably close game, and that's it...all others will fall greatly!
