Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud

Thomas, looking like a much more polished, complete running back than in the past, rushed for 124 yards on just 11 carries -- 11.3 yards per pop -- and scored three TDs in the Ducks' blowout win. Jason Quick and Dale Newton give the defense the credit they deserve amid the gaudy offensive stats.

Nathan Roholt and Andrew Greif both look at De'Anthony's role this year.

Mark Helfrich held his weekly teleconference yesterday and here are some of his comments.

■ Dale Newton talks about Thomas Tyner's dazzling debut.

Thomas Tyner touched the ball four times in his first action as a Duck, in mop-up time of a decided game, but what he showed fans in that brief stint has everyone projecting and speculating on his value, output and potential as a first-year player.
