Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Mark Helfrich sits down with Ted Miller to talk about expectations for the 2013 season.

Don’t look now, but with 13 players on scholarship, the Ducks appear to have some serious size and speed to work with at the receiver position in 2013 and beyond.  Over the past few recruiting cycles, a focus of the Oregon coaching staff has been finding players who can help improve production in the passing game.  Who will stand out among this group?

■ Madison Guernsey chooses her top special team plays of the last decade.

■ Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich held a brief conference call yesterday and is excited to start preseason camp on Monday.

Here's a quick update on how returning Ducks are doing in the summer baseball leagues.

■ Aaron Fentress previews the wide receivers and highlights Bralon Addison.

As a true freshman, Addison caught 22 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. Modest numbers to be sure, but most of his touches displayed his smooth route running abilities, supreme confidence, sure hands and big-play potential.

I don't know why (well, yes I do...NCAA 2014), but I think Bralon Addison has a big year ahead of him! In my game...he's fast!
