Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
■ Ted Miller believes these are the first-year players to watch for Oregon.

While RB Thomas Tyner is the biggest name in the recruiting class and likely to be immediately in the mix, you probably can arrive at more certainty with kicker/punter Matt Wogan.

Mark Flores takes a look at the latest in recruiting news.

■ Rob Moseley reports Oregon football’s four-year APR average hits all-time high.

The Ducks’ APR — a measure of academic eligibility, player retention and graduation rates — rose five points to 963 out of a possible 1,000 in 2011-12. That brought Oregon’s four-year rolling average up to 951, the highest since the APR first began being calculated in 2004-05.

Dude...I'M STOKED to have a kicker that we can depend on. You can't blame some of our recent losses on the kickers, but you can say that the game came down to those plays. I'm ready to have a "Steady Eddy" back there!
