Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
The Pac-12 Conference announced several new TV times for the 2013 football season yesterday.

The Ducks' Aug. 31 opener vs. Nicholls State at Autzen Stadium will kickoff at 1 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1, while UO's much anticipated clash with Tennessee on Sept. 14 is slated for 12:30 p.m. PT and will be carried by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Oregon's final home game of the regular season - the 117th edition of the Civil War vs. Oregon State on Friday, Nov. 29 - will kickoff at 4 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.

Other confirmed television selections involving the Ducks are Oregon at Stanford Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. PT on ESPN, and the Sept. 28 home game vs. Cal and Oct. 5 road contest at Colorado, both on Pac-12 Networks with times to be determined.

Oregon's non-conference road game at Virginia on Sept. 7 was previously announced as a 12:30 p.m. PT start on ABC and ESPN2.

David Melo sits with former DE Darrell Wright who played in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl for a Q&A session.

Jake Reed will be the starting pitcher for Oregon when they take on South Dakota St. tomorrow night at PK Park to officially launch the post season.

"It's going to be great to be back in front of our fans and get the opportunity to make another big run. It starts Friday with me and our guys, and I'm really excited."

Several Oregon baseball players were selected to the Pac-12 All-Conference Team yesterday.

John Canzano wouldn't mind seeing a Civil War in Omaha.

If the Ducks can win the Regional, and a Super Regional, they may get an opportunity to meet the No. 3 overall seed Beavers beav trash and give this state what would be the most electric college baseball event in our history.
