"We have plan A, plan B and plan C for how we're going to go about this," Helfrich said. "It's just going to depend on our overall health."
The spring game will be played in Autzen Stadium on Saturday at 11 a.m., and will be televised by Pac-12 Networks. Admission, as usual, is three non-perishable food items to be donated to a local food bank, and the day will again feature several tributes to military personnel.
■ The baseball team fell three spots to #13 in the latest poll after losing 2 out of 3 to UCLA.
■ Sam Arney talks about what he is looking forward to seeing at the spring game this year.
■ Marcus Mariota has a different mindset heading into the spring game than he did a year ago.
■ The next wave of DB's stand ready just in case the inevitable injury occurs on the field or in practice.
As the Ducks found out at several positions in 2012, however, rookies can quickly become members of the rotation when injuries happen. While [Reggie] Daniels managed to preserve his redshirt at Cal [last year], Alex Balducci was pressed into action that night, becoming the third true freshman to play on the line.
