• Oregon avoided being swept by Cal State Fullerton yesterday as they beat the Titans 9-1.

Freshman Cole Irvin gave the Oregon Ducks the start they needed on the mound and Ryan Hambright snapped out of an early-season slump to lead No. 14 Oregon to a 9-1 win over No. 17 Cal State Fullerton at Goodwin Field on Sunday.

Oregon returns to action at PK Park tonight (6 pm) for a two game series against Cal State Northridge.
