Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Some nice moments (except for looking at BW) before and after the Oklahoma St. game courtesy of GoDucksdotcom and then an interview from yesterday where Dana Altman talked to the media about matching up against St. Louis courtesy of ODE.

Adam Jude lets you get to know St. Louis a little better.

The Billikens have one nation's stingiest defenses now, allowing just 58.1 points per game. They've won a school-record 28 games, including 16 of their last 17. Their last loss was to Xavier in overtime on March 6.

Saint Louis has a balanced scoring attack, led by 6-foot-5 forward Dwayne Evans' 13.7 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per.

• Mark Helfrich said there will be some subtle changes to the practice format for the football team this year.

• Oregon beat Arizona 2-1 in the Pac-12 opener yesterday behind some strong pitching performances.

Jake Reed (3-3) allowed one run while scattering six hits over six innings to pick up the win. He struck out three, while walking three. Christian Jones and Jimmie Sherfy didn’t allow a hit over the final three innings to wrap up the win.

The Ducks and Wildcats meet in game two of the series today at 2 p.m. at PK Park. Tommy Thorpe (2-2, 3.72) is scheduled to pitch for UO, while James Farris (3-2, 3.82) is listed as the Arizona starter.
