Duck Stuff: Morning Mud
• Jonathan Loyd saved the best performance of his career for the Pac-12 Tournament completing a three game run in Las Vegas as Oregon beat UCLA 78-69 to take home the trophy. Video courtesy of KEZI.
• Oregon took the second game of a three game series against USC yesterday with a come from behind 8-4 performance. Game three is today at noon.
Oregon scored six runs in the eighth inning to rally for an 8-4 Pac-12 Conference win over USC on Saturday night at Dedeaux Field.
Scott Heineman led the Ducks (15-5, 2-0 Pac-12) going 3-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored. Mitchell Tolman, making just his third career start, went 2-for-2 with a RBI and a run scored, while J.J. Altobelli was 2-for-5.
• De'Anthony Thomas had three wins on the track yesterday including a meet record in the 4x100 meter relay during the Oregon Preview meet at Hayward Field.
