Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

De'Anthony Thomas really gets into his part-time YMCA league coaching role. Really like how he is supporting kids in the community.

• Ted Miller has Marcus Mariota as the number one pick for the Pac-12 top 25 for 2012 which is really no great surprise as he outperformed all expectations. Ted also reviews the complete top 25 for 2012.

It's pretty extraordinary that a redshirt freshman quarterback earns first-team All-Pac-12 honors. And tops this list. But Mariota had an extraordinary season. He ranked first in the Pac-12 and seventh in the nation in pass efficiency. It's reasonable to wonder how ridiculous his numbers would have been had Oregon played more close games, and therefore Mariota's A-game was needed in the fourth quarter more than three or four times....

Dion Jordan impressed NFL scouts, coaches and any others in attendance at the combine yesterday.

• Todd Moore analyzes the swinging gate formation Oregon has used the last few years to get two point conversions.

• New week and new polls. The baseball team maintained their #14 spot and the basketball team dropped one spot to #24.

GO DUCKS!
