• Oregon released the official 2013 schedule yesterday which includes seven home games. Much better than last years slate.

• Year of the Duck? The Oregon Daily Emerald says it's never been a better time to be an Oregon fan.

• As I mentioned a few days ago, Dennis Dixon has in fact been signed to a two year contract with the Eagles and joins Chip Kelly in what could be a very interesting reunion.

• All sorts of baseball to cover the start of the season which is today. Jimmy Sherfy has been named on the Golden Spikes Award watch list; Matt Walks lists five reasons to look forward to baseball and GoDucks.com announced single game tickets go on sale today at 9 am local time.

Baseball season is upon Eugene again. The team that came so close to heading to Omaha last season will have another shot. With Jimmie Sherfy, J.J. Altobelli, and Jake Reed, there are many reasons to be excited about the season.
