Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Chip Kelly held one more press conference before the big game today and side-stepped questions regarding his future. Video courtesy of ODE.

Many outlets are reporting the Cleveland Browns will be meeting with Chip this Friday regarding their opening for a head coach.

Ted Miller believes, along with many others, that Mark Helfrich will be the likely successor to Chip Kelly if he does leave for the NFL.

Rob Moseley reports it is very difficult for the injured players to sit on the sidelines while their teammates play in the Fiesta Bowl.

Matching up the head coaches in the Fiesta Bowl ends in a draw.

Kyle Long accepted a late invitation to the Senior Bowl.

Joey Holland looks back at some of the best bowl performances by an Oregon player.

Joel Gunderson previews today's game and has Oregon winning 45-34.

My prediction: Oregon 42 - KSU 28

Ted Miller compares Colin Klein and Marcus Mariota and decides they're the same but different.

Both Fiesta Bowl quarterbacks earned first-team all-conference honors. Both are dual threats. Both are humble guys who inspire effusive praise from coaches and teammates.

But Kansas State's Collin Klein and Oregon's Marcus Mariota are not exactly spitting images of each other.

The player who does what makes him special better is likely to be on the winning team.

GO DUCKS!
