• Oregon has decided to drop the Nevada game on Sept. 7 in favor of a home-and-home series with the Virginia Cavaliers. Oregon travels to Charlottesville on Sept. 7.

Mark Helfrich picked up his third commit since becoming head coach as Juwaan Williams out of Tucker, GA. chose Oregon last night.

• Kenjon Barner and Kyle Long saw plenty of action last Saturday at the Senior Bowl.

• Former Oregon TE Ed Dickson is living his dream.

The Oregon men's basketball team broke into the top 10 for the first time since 2007.

The baseball team enters the season ranked seventh in the NCBWA Preseason Poll.

• It's been a long journey for Oregon baseball player Darrell Hunter as he looks to come back from an injury. (good read)

“I’ll be doggone if Darrell hasn't just shocked us,” UO coach George Horton said. “He’s been one of more consistent pitchers” in fall and winter workouts.
