Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Kevin Gemmell looks at the Pac-12 signature wins and has this to say about Oregon.

The Ducks went 4-1 against Top 25 teams this season -- and they have a date with another one on Jan. 3. But with the country watching what was going to happen on Nov. 3, Oregon went into the Coliseum and dropped 62 points on the Trojans. It certainly wasn't a signature day for the defense -- which gave up 51 points and surrendered 615 total yards. But -- at the time -- this was a huge win for the Ducks and helped boost their national credibility.

• Rob Moseley and Matt Prehm look at the latest recruiting news.

• Josh W. @FishDuck.com opens the history book and takes a look at the progression of the Oregon athletic department nickname, from Webfoots to "the Duck."

• Kenjon Barner became the sixth consensus All-American in Oregon history yesterday as he was named to The Sporting News and the Walter Camp teams.

GoDucks.com would like you to meet the Santa Duck at the Autzen Stadium Duck store on Dec. 21st between 1 and 3 pm. It will cost you just $10.00 to have your photo taken and is a fundraiser for the Oregon Cheer Team.

GO DUCKS!

I know USC lost five, but they must have been the most underperforming team in the entire nation. I still think that's a big win for Oregon.
