Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
• Officials from the ACC conference will work the Fiesta Bowl according to Rob Moseley.

A crew from the Atlantic Coast Conference will officiate the Fiesta Bowl, a year after the league supplied the crew for Oregon’s Rose Bowl win.

ACC teams are among the least penalized in the nation, in contrast with those of the Pac-12.

• Matt Prehm of DuckTerritory has some recruiting news.

#5 Oregon volleyball team took down #1 Penn State last night and will play in the NCAA finals against Texas on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm local time. Nice job ladies!

Need a Fiesta Bowl ticket? Single seats still available.

Ted Miller looks at best case/worst case scenarios for the Pac-12 bowl games. I won't quote the worst case scenario (just fantasy anyway) but here is the best case.

Oregon starts fast and never lets up in a 51-20 blowout, with running back Kenjon Barner rushing for 187 yards and two scores and quarterback Marcus Mariota throwing for three TDs. The Ducks sack Collin Klein five times and grab two interceptions. "I'm sure glad we didn't play them in the regular season," Kansas State coach Bill Snyder says afterward. Shortly after the game, Ducks coach Chip Kelly signs a lifetime contract, opens practices and promises to be more patient with hypotheticals and other sorts of irritating questions.

GO DUCKS!

Pretty exciting about the volleyball team...just another dominating performance for an Oregon team.
