A home loss to Stanford cost Oregon the opportunity to play in the national championship game.
The consolation prize was a trip to the Fiesta Bowl, to play the Big 12 champion.
Yes, it’s all familiar to the Ducks on that 2001 Oregon football team, who themselves had a one-loss season that left them relegated to a game in Arizona instead of the national title game, so very similar to the fate of the current Oregon team.

I think K-State will score and will keep pace for a time, but only a time. I think Oregon will likely come out a smidgen slow as well and be down a bit in the game. But I think Oregon will come back, overtake KSU, and win and cover.

I just really don't know how to proceed with the game prediction...with two explosive teams, it could go so many ways. It's fun to process though!
