All the No. 6 K-State Wildcats need to do is hold off No. 18 Texas, at 5 p.m. Saturday (ABC), to secure the other Fiesta Bowl berth. That would set up a matchup with Oregon that was supposed to happen in the 2011 and 2012 regular seasons but didn't.
Should K-State lose to Texas, Oklahoma could grab the Big 12 title and Fiesta Bowl slot, by winning at TCU earlier Saturday, at 9 a.m. (ESPN). Should both teams lose, the Wildcats would win the conference by holding the tiebreaker based on their win over the Sooners.
