Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

KEZI shares their late news coverage video on the Civil War victory for Oregon.

• The game wasn't as close as the 48-24 final would indicate and the win will likely earn the Ducks a spot in the Fiesta Bowl. We'll have to wait and on that one though. Lots of game stories so here we go.

Ted Miller said it was close and then it wasn't; Aaron Fentress says turnovers were the key and they righted the ship; Scott Reed said it was a strong performance; Ken Woody believes the Ducks blew it open in the third quarter; Josh W. called it a "chippy" win for Oregon; Robby Boydstun notes DAT played with high emotions; Rob Moseley looks at the BCS bowl picture and figures Oregon will play Kansas St. or Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl; Adam Jude notes the record setting six takeaways and DAT's fiery performance; Matt Walks provides the ODE coverage; and ESPN round out the coverage.

The Oregonian and the Oregon Daily Emerald took some nice photos during the game.

John Canzano wonders if Chip Kelly coached in his last Civil War.

On Saturday when I asked if the "unfinished business" he talked about when he turned down a shot at coaching in the NFL is still unfinished, he hedged.

"I wasn't talking about wins and losses when I said that," Kelly said. "I was talking what this team is about, we don't grade ourselves on wins and losses ... we grade ourselves on whether we do the right things on and off the field. This team -- it's young -- but they get it."

So what's left for Kelly at Oregon? (lots I hope)

I'm making a prediction that Kelly is back for one more season. I'm sticking to it!
