Duck Stuff: Morning Mud
Marcus Mariota talks with reporters after the 51-26 victory against Washington St. Video courtesy of Rob Moseley and the RG.
• It wasn't the ass whooping I thought it would be but Oregon still found a way to rack up the points. I liked the performance of Kenjon Barner but this team needs a lot of fine tuning before I'll feel confident going against a top ten team.
Game coverage stories are plentiful and here are some of the best. Josh W. and crew @FishDuck.com have a comprehensive report; Bob Clark liked the second half KB show; Rob Moseley says Oregon continues to set the pace in the Pac-12; Adam Jude credits the defense; Kevin Gemmell believes Oregon gained some maturity; Aaron Fentress says there is a lot of work to do; Robby Boydstun credits a strong second half effort; Chris Hansen believes the defense set the tone; GoDucks.com and ESPN round out the stories.
• Here are some nice photos from ODE and eDuck.
• Kevin Gemmell has a helmet sticker for Kenjon Barner.
Time to start adding him to the Heisman tracker? Barner rushed for 195 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over Washington State. He averaged 9.8 yards per carry and ran for scores of 22, 10 and 80 yards.
