Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Chip Kelly, Ricky Heimuli and Wade Keliikipi talk with reporters after practice yesterday. Video courtesy of Rob Moseley and KVAL.

Here are pictures of the new helmet and uniforms that Chip along with the reporters were mentioning in the video above.

• Ted Miller pegs Dion Jordan as the 11th best player in his top 25 for the Pac-12.

Despite missing two games, Jordan led the Ducks and ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in sacks and seventh in tackles for a loss. A first-team All-Pac-12 performer in 2011, Jordan could become a breakout star in 2011, perhaps even getting All-American consideration.

• Josh White takes at the Pac-12's running backs.

• Adam Jude reports true freshman Bralon Addison continues to impress in fall camp.

Bralon Addison has joined De'Anthony Thomas in multi-purpose position meetings with coach Chip Kelly this month.

And if Addison continues to impress coaches over the next two weeks, the true freshman from Texas could join Thomas on the field for Oregon's season opener against Arkansas State.

Oregon offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich said after practice Friday that, among the freshmen receivers, Addison has stood out in the first two weeks of fall camp.
