Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Josh Schlichter breaks down Washington State head coach Mike Leach's Air Attack.

• Ted Miller ranks the Pac-12 head coaching jobs and Oregon is number two on his list.

Is a coaching job all about the money? Is it about the prestige of the program? Is it about potential? Is it about location? Stadium size?  It's probably about all of those things.

2. Oregon: The Ducks have become a national power. Great facilities. Sugar daddy booster in Nike boss Phil Knight. Cool town, too.

• Rob Moseley notes Oregon sophomore Hroniss Grasu was named Tuesday to the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center.

• Brandon P. Oliver (ESPN Insider article) reports the three Oregon commits who attended Nike's "The Opening" all showed why they should be there.

Offensive lineman Alex Redmond (Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos), running back Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto) and wide receiver Darren Carrington Jr. (San Diego, Calif./Horizon Christian) all displayed the ability to compete with the best in the country.

Of the three commits on hand, Dontre Wilson might have been the most impressive future Duck. The dynamic Wilson drew comparisons to another Texan turned Oregon Duck from multiple coaches.
