Oregon commit, RB Dontre Wilson is in Portland attending Nike's "The Opening." An invitation only football camp and explains his reasoning on choosing Oregon.

"It's really the offense and the size of the running backs that made me want to come to Oregon," Wilson said. "The last couple years their running backs have gone to the NFL. So I think if I go there, I can carry on that legacy."

Aaron Fentress reports Oregon pitcher Jake Reed has been named to Baseball America's 2012 Freshman All-America second team.

Reed, currently playing with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, went 8-4 last season with a 2.92 ERA and had 15 quality starts. He was also named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and received Pac-12 honorable mention honors.
