Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Keeerrrttt1 talks Oregon athletics in his 48th Vlog. Topics include:

New football commits (0:30), US Olympic Trials (3:40), Post-season accolades (5:27), Pac-12 network update (6:45), College football playoffs (7:40), update (8:46), Random Tweet of the Week (10:39), Music Recommendation of the Week: (10:50)...

• Aaron Fentress repots the backfield will be very crowded in 2013.

Oregon long ago landed a commitment from 5-star back Thomas Tyner out of Aloha High School. At 6-2, 200, he resembles what a running back would look like if one spliced the DNA of LaMichael James and Jonathan Stewart to create a super back. Tyner is bigger and more powerful than James, faster than both.

Having De'Anthony Thomas, Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner on tap for 2013 is a group most programs would envy. But Oregon added to that lot by recently receiving an early commitment from 4-star back Dontre Wilson out of DeSoto, Texas. rates him as the No. 2 all-purpose back in the country. He's listed at 5-10, 176 and resembles Barner on film.

Courtesy of Jimmie Sherfy was named to Baseball America's 2012 College All-America second team, the publication announced yesterday.

Oregon’s closer has now totaled four All-American nods from such organizations as the American Baseball Coaches Association, Louisville Slugger and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
