Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Keeerrrttt1 @FishDuck.com goes one-on-one with FishDuck writer Josh Schlichter as they talk about Oregon Football and Josh's experiences at the U of O as a student.

ESPN examines Chip Kelly's NFL potential.

• Rob Moseley reports that Oregon's BCS contention in 2012 corresponded with solid academic performance.

• Oregon picks up another verbal commitment. Three star, 6'3" WR Darren Carrington out of San Diego, CA.

• Another Heisman contender list, this time for the Pac-12. Oregon places three in the top 25, De'Anthony Thomas at #3, Kenjon Barner at #7 and Michael Clay at #22.

• Kevin Gemmell looks at the Pac-12's recent history vs. the Top 25. Oregon sits at number one with a 12-5 (.705) record.

• Looks like a new BCS playoff system is getting closer to reality.

The BCS commissioners and Notre Dame's athletic director on Wednesday endorsed a seeded four-team playoff model for college football beginning in the 2014 season.

The commissioners' consensus still must be approved by the BCS presidential oversight committee, which meets June 26 in Washington D.C. If approved, the four-team playoff would replace the BCS system, which has been in place since 1998.

• GoDuck.com follows the 2013 Duck baseball team as they head out for summer ball. They have the complete list of where you can find your favorite player.
