Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Charles Fisher has his third installment of Chip Kelly game planning ready for your enjoyment. In this video Charles looks at some surprise formations and the ensuing plays from last season. Good stuff.

Oregon's bid to make a trip to Omaha came to an end last night as they dropped the deciding game to Kent St. 3-2. George Horton talks to reporters after the game in this press conference. It was a great season Ducks and you went further than anyone expected.

• Ted Miller was busy yesterday and has three posts concerning Oregon football.

First up he looks at the Pac-12's official list of returning starters where you will find Oregon with 14. Then he lists the Pac-12 media day schedule with Chip Kelly, Kenjon Barner and Michael Clay representing the Ducks. Finally, he references the Pac-12's leading tacklers. Leading the pack is Michael Clay but Ted has some thoughts about Oregon.

Safety John Boyett led the Ducks with 108 total tackles, but you'd expect that number to go down because of the strength of the Ducks' front seven. Clay is a good pick to repeat as the defense's leader, but Kiko Alonso might eclipse him as he becomes a full-time starter inside.

Great run by the baseball team...I'm glad you chronicled their achievements here Dadio. Now, it's full-time football!
