Duck Stuff: Morning Mud
• From GoDucks.com: Senior right-hander Alex Keudell became Oregon’s career leader in wins, helping the Ducks defeat Cal State Fullerton 7-5 in the Eugene Regional on Saturday night.
Oregon (44-17), the No. 5 national seed, improved to 2-0 in the NCAA tournament and will play the winner of the Cal State Fullerton-Austin Peay elimination game Sunday at 4 p.m. at PK Park for a chance to move on to the super regionals. Video courtesy of KVAL.
• In softball news, #11 Oregon was eliminated from the CWS as they lost to #3 Cal 6-3 in Oklahoma City.
• Steve Maher @FishDuck.com lists his top ten off-season stories for the Oregon football team. Here is one of my favorites from the list:
No. 4 — Lack of off-field turmoil. No trips down Interstate 5 going 118 mph. No brawling on the streets of Eugene. We still have a few weeks to go in the off-season, but so far so good for the Oregon football players.
GO DUCKS!
