• Oregon senior right-hander Alex Keudell was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year following a vote by the Conference coaches, it was announced by Commissioner Larry Scott on Wednesday. Complete story at

• Aaron Fentress wonders if you think the baseball team deserves their #5 national seed? Last time I checked more than half though the selection committee got it right.

• Women's softball coach Mike White took an unlikely path to becoming an elite coach.

"There have been some weird twists and turns in the road, but fate got me here, so I'm not going to fight it too much," White said. "There's been some evolution in the journey, but softball just keeps pulling me back in."
