James appeared Wednesday at a Willamette High assembly at which he signed autographs, answered questions from students and announced a donation to the school of $5,000 in athletic training equipment from SKLZ, for whom James is an endorser.

Ten seniors including Mark Asper, Anthony Gildon, Terrell Turner and David Paulson were joined by early draft entrants LaMichael James, Darron Thomas and former Duck Cliff Harris to participate in drills in front of dozens of pro scouts.
