Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
• Jeffrey Martin reports that Oregon aims for summary disposition of NCAA investigation into Duck football recruiting.

"While we have no specific timetable on the inquiry, we remain in close communication with the NCAA as the process advances cooperatively through each stage," UO athletic director Rob Mullens wrote in an e-mail to athletic program supporters the same day. "Currently, pursuant to the NCAA's process, we are in constructive discussions with the NCAA on their draft of their proposed findings."

In doing so, the university's goal is to avoid receiving a Notice of Allegations and instead resolve the case through summary disposition.

• How about some positive news you might ask?...how about the baseball team...with its latest sweep of Long Beach State the Ducks moved up one spot to #17 and Devoe Joseph on the basketball team made the first team All Pac-12 squad.

GO DUCKS!
