Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
• As I know everyone has heard by now, Darron Thomas has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft opening the door for the Bryan Bennett era. Makes me wonder, what was he thinking? Here are three of many articles on the subject, from Rob Moseley, Dale Newton and Ted Miller.

Rob Moseley has a great article on the subject of the "most significant game in Oregon football history;" was it the recent Rose Bowl victory? Lots of great comments from readers and Rob's personal choice might surprise you. From my personal perspective on games I have attended, I liked his choice.

• Dale Newton writes, Kenjon Barner's commitment is like landing a six star running back.

Not only is he a proven commodity and a tremendous fit for the Oregon zone blocking system, Barner adds poise, maturity and leadership. Confident, focused and articulate, KB will fill a role like David Paulson and Terrell Turner did this year, likely to be a senior leader and the face of the program, a difference-making player with a program-defining attitude.

GO DUCKS!
