He said he’s most proud of how his young team came together throughout the season. Just 10 scholarship seniors – 14 all together - were on the 2011 roster.
“You didn’t know what they were going to be like,” he said. “You played a lot of kids that hadn’t played before…just to see how they grew as the season went along, how they became just key contributors was a big deal.”
