Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Ken Goe and Aaron Fentress recap the win against UCLA and give a lot of credit to Darron Thomas. Video courtesy of the Oregonian.

• Rob Moseley has all the links for the R-G print edition stories on the victory against UCLA.

• Ted Miller has helmet stickers for LaMichael James and Michael Clay.

James: The running back is now on the short list of best running backs in Pac-12 history. The 2010 Doak Walker winner is the first conference back to rush for 1,500 yards three consecutive seasons, which I rate as pretty monumental. As for this little ole helmet sticker, James had 219 yards and three touchdowns in the Ducks' 49-31 victory over UCLA in the Pac-12 championship game.

Clay: The Ducks linebacker had six tackles and two sacks against UCLA. He also forced and recovered a fumble.

• Aaron Fentress notes winning the Rose Bowl game would mean a lot to the players and coaches.

"We haven't won (the Rose Bowl) here in awhile and we'd like to be the ones to change that," senior tight end David Paulson said.

• Remaining tickets for the Rose Bowl game against Wisconsin will go on sale tomorrow for the general public.

• Rob Moseley has a short post regarding the Ducks - Badgers matchup asking readers for their thoughts. A lot interesting comments from the fans.

• Josh White at has comparative stats for the 2010-20111 Oregon seasons, interesting stuff and here are his closing thoughts.

There is of course one more game to play this season and many of the stats will look a little different after a 14th game. I will be watching to see if this years team can still achieve the advantage in maybe the most important of statistical categories: BCS Bowl wins.
