Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Molly Blue provides the video of players and Chip Kelly talking about the victory after the game.

Rob Moseley reports on the 34-17 victory last night against the Huskies.

The win set the tone for Oregon’s November gantlet that also features Stanford and Southern California, not to mention the Civil War, with a third straight conference title up for grabs.

“We still control our own destiny for what we want,” UO junior guard Carson York said.

• George Schroeder says to give the defense credit for seizing opportunites and shutting down the Dawgs.

I know Oregon’s defense is not going to be confused with LSU’s or Alabama’s. But they hit hard. They’re in the right places. And they fly to the football.

Or at least, they did Saturday. And it’s reason for well-placed confidence heading into the biggest game of the season.

• More game coverage is available from the following; John Canzano says Oregon is the one who provided lasting memories at Husky Stadium yesterday; Ken Goe notes the Ducks make it eight in a row; Adam Jude reports LMJ provides familiar spark, Steve Maher says the Huskies still no match for Oregon; Steve Summers talks about the outstanding defense; Lindsay Schnell notes that LMJ is the first Duck RB to have three 1,000 yard seasons and that Eddie Pleasant if getting comfortable at safety; GoDucks.com and ESPN round out the coverage.

• Jeff Matarrese and Stephanie Yao Long have some great game photos they would like to share.

College GameDay will be in Palo Alto next weekend to cover the Oregon vs Stanford matchup, the third time Oregon has been featured on the show this season.

Ted Miller has a helmet sticker for Eddie Pleasant.

The Ducks safety grabbed two interceptions in the 34-17 win over Washington. His 65 yards of INT return also helped set up two short Ducks TD drives.

• I will have a game highlight video ready for your enjoyment this afternoon. Stay tuned and keep informed here.

GO DUCKS!
