“When you’re going to play LSU, they’ve been known for their front and their defense specifically,” Kelly said. “That’s what we anticipated going in, and they’re good. That group is as good a front as we’ll play against this year. We understand that’s what our battle’s going to be, is how do we handle that front?”
Oregon’s most experienced lineman, junior guard Carson York, is clearly tired of talking about the question.
“I’ve been asked that 50 times; I have no idea,” York said. “We have film on all the guys, but I don’t know. All we can do is go out there, give max effort and stay on our guys.”
• Dale Newton, one of my favorite bloggers (if you haven't noticed,) has a great series of articles he posted this morning on keys to the game. Dale starts out with the O-line, moves to the downfield passing game and then finishes up with the defense and turnovers/special teams. Good stuff Dale.
