Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
George Schroeder reports that the Willie Lyles’ “2011 National Package” is filled with class of 2009 recruits. That seems to be the biggest "smoking gun" everyone is talking about. When you are finished with Schroeder's version you can read similar articles by Dennis Dodd, Adam Jude, and Aaron Fentress. A lot to do about nothing (IMO) so far.

How do Pac-12 football and basketball programs rank in terms of profitability? Oregon comes in 37th nationally according to this report.

OL Nick Cody (along with two others) won an award for this video, Recruiting Sevices: Athletes Getting EXPOSURE or EXPOSED? Nick and the others did a fine job with their work and it seems very relevant considering the whole Lyles mess.

Bob Rickert has a nice Q&A with with former Oregon player WR Garren Strong.

Dale Newton continues introducing the 2011 recruits and shares his profile story on OL Jake Fisher.

The Traverse City (Michigan) athlete was rated the #25 offensive tackle prospect by Scout.com and a four-star prospect.  He was first team All-State.

GO DUCKS!

This whole recruiting thing is gonna bite us, big time. And that sucks, because this guy seems like a first-class ass.
