Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
The Heisman Pundit lists the five teams most likely to win their first Heisman in the next five years and has Oregon at number one.

Whether you are a quarterback or a running back, you are going to put up big numbers in the Chip Kelly offense.  The Ducks have a ton of top-level offensive talent stockpiled and should be formidable even after current stars Darron Thomas and LaMichael James exhaust their eligibility.  Oregon has transitioned into a national power and, once that happens, Heismans naturally follow.  If James or Thomas can’t get it done, look for future stars Lache Seastrunk, Marcus Mariota, De’Anthony Thomas or Tra Carson to be the first Duck so honored.

Dale Newton believes that Andy Staples at got it wrong when he listed Oregon as one of the top ten coaching jobs in the country.

Ted Miller notes that the Oregon vs LSU game is already sold out.

Dale Newton believes that the receiver position is one of the easier places for an incoming freshman to make a difference.

What a contrast, between the first piece about Oregon getting a Heisman, and Dale's bummer of a write-up on Oregon being a top 10 program.

Not exactly Dave...he just points out that Oregon isn't a top 10 coaching job...he is just saying nobody can do what Chip does, we don't have the donor base, weather, huge stadium, etc...
