Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley reviews the linebacker position now that spring practice has concluded.

Fall camp will be very interesting to watch at this point. A couple of options seem likely. One would probably be for somebody like Josh Kaddu to get some time at WILL, getting Kaddu, Boseko Lokombo and Michael Clay together on the field together; at this point, those are unquestionably the Ducks' best three linebackers. But Kaddu was a great counter to end Dion Jordan on the other side of the defense in the spring, and the Kaddu-Lokombo rotation is so strong that the Ducks might be hesitant to mess with it. In which case, a couple of the incoming freshmen might need to help.

Dale Newton shares his opinion of the Rob Moseley LB story and offers some intriguing best case/worst case scenarios.

ESPN's Joe Schad notes that some states are trying to pass legislation that will put new restrictions and penalties on the so called "street agents" who supply colleges with recruiting material.

Duck Territory reports that ESPN's College GameDay will open the season in style with the Oregon vs LSU game on September 3rd in Dallas.
