Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley wonders if Lavasier Tuinei could be the favorite target for Darron Thomas this year.

Darron Thomas, Oregon’s second-year starting quarterback, said he’s already looking at Tuinei as a potential go-to wideout in the fall. But that’s a distinction that must be earned each and every practice.

“We need him to come out every day and be consistent, come out and show the guys what it takes,” Thomas said. “That’s one thing we’re working on with him — every play just making the effort, showing the younger guys.”

Cliff Harris has been named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list along with 42 other players given annually to the top defensive player in college football.

George Schroeder wonders if Washington St. and Arizona St. are being copycats as they unveiled new uniforms yesterday.

John Hunt looks at secondary coach John Neal's recruiting style and DT's possible targets this year.

Dale Newton thinks 2011 will be a good year but bets 2012 will be even better.

John Canzano provides the audio to his radio interview he had yesterday with Chip Kelly.

Last but not least is Takimoto's tongue in cheek post from yesterday; "I Find Your Quack of Faith Disturbing," and likens Chip Kelly to a Sith Lord. Fun stuff.
