Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley relays the news that QB recruit Jerrard Randall, who passed his Act exam, won't be joining the Ducks after all. The U of O has tougher academic standards than just passing that test and he evidently would have been hard pressed to meet the more stringent requirements.

If there is a silver lining, it seems that DE Delvon Simmons wants to leave NC. The Ducks were high on his list at one point.

Bob Rickert has his random recruit of the week, DE Alex Balducci from Portland's Central Catholic High School. He's listed at 6' 3" and 245 lbs.

Not really football related, except for the fact we drive right by it on our way to our favorite parking spot when heading to Autzen Stadium. It seems everyone had a great time last night at Matthew Knight Arena.

Nike put on the "Clash of the Champions" event Tuesday evening featuring tennis stars Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka, and a surprise appearance from tennis legend John McEnroe.
