Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Ted Miller continues his countdown of the top 25 Pac-10 players of 2010 and has Jeff Maehl at #12.

The first-team All-Pac-10 receiver was simply one of the best players at his position in the nation. Maehl tied Samie Parker’s (2000-03) school records for receptions in a season (77) and a career (178). His 12 TD receptions -- 10 of which came in conference games -- ranked 11th nationally and tied the school record. His 24 career TD catches also matched the Oregon career mark. And many of his receptions were spectacular.

Maehl joins Kenny Rowe, Casey Matthews, Talmadge Jackson and Cliff Harris on Miller's list.

OregonGridiron is looking for the "fans choice" when it comes to music on their highlight videos. Direct message them and you could have your song choice selected and featured on one of the videos and it will also be played at Autzen Stadium. You could probably leave a comment on this video as well.

In other Oregon sports news, the men's basketball and baseball teams lost on the road yesterday but Joevan Catron had a stellar game as he surpassed the 1,000 career point total. The softball team split a pair of games at the Super Regionals winning against #17 Louisiana-Lafayette but then losing later in the day to #1 Alabama.
