Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Oregon CB Talmadge Jackson makes into Ted Miller's top 25 from the Pac-10 in 2010 and comes in at #20.

Preseason: Unranked.

Jackson ranked fourth on the Ducks with 70 tackles. He also had two interceptions, eight pass breakups and one forced fumble.

Bob Rickert has his random recruit of the week, DT Dillon Chaisson out of Las Vegas.

Coaching continuity is a good thing according to Ted Miller, especially for the Ducks.

We don't have to spend much time with Oregon, right? It went undefeated in the regular season and played for the national championship. It was elite on both sides of the ball as well as on special teams. Is there an area that underperformed or wasn't sound? To answer that as Kelly would, no.

Ted Miller was busy yesterday and has another piece, this time on explosion plays. Turns out Oregon came in at the #5 position nationally.

Not surprisingly, Oregon led the conference and ranked fifth in the nation with 82 plays of 20 or more yards.
