Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
As they have proven all season, the Ducks own the second half. With a stunning display of running, passing, blocking, smart play calling, and tenacity on "D", Oregon proved too much to handle for the #20 Arizona Wildcats and walked away with a 48 - 29 victory, a second consecutive Pac-10 championship and only one win away from the National Championship game.

It's all very surreal to be honest but it sure has been a fun ride. On to the all the pundit stories.

No shortage of game recap stories so pick your favorite writer or check them all out. In no particular order we have; Ken Goe, Aaron Fentress, John Hunt, Rob Moseley, Ted Miller, Steve Summers, Chris Courtney, Ken Woody, GoDucks.com, and ESPN.

The Register Guard and the Oregonian provide photos from the game for your enjoyment.

Andy Mac breaks down all the facts figures and stats from the game.

Aaron Fentress notes that LMJ and Jeff Maehl both went into the Oregon record book last night, joining some pretty exclusive company.

Broke my heart that BSU lost last night, how about you?

Casey Matthews has been named one of four finalists for the Lott Trophy. The awards show will be televised live on FOX Sports at 8pm local time and will be held in Newport Beach, CA.

John Canzano reminds us that, as it usually does, the Civil War will be huge.

The Beavers play Stanford today....But it's next week's Civil War against No. 1 Oregon that feels like the defining moment of the Beavers season. It will decide everything.

Beat the in-state rivals and save the Beavers season.

Get toasted and end up as state road kill.

The Civil War will decide everything.

Again.

I will be putting together my highlight video later today and it should be up on my YouTube Channel later this afternoon. Stay tuned.

GO DUCKS!
