Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Rob Moseley and Ken Goe provide the Wednesday practice updates.

From Rob: David Paulson and Spencer Paysinger were both removed from the injury report this morning, though both wore red non-contact jerseys. Kenjon Barner, Nick Cody, Daryle Hawkins, Bryson Littlejohn and Darrion Weems  all remained on the injury report. It only being Wednesday, and those being experienced guys who know their stuff, it’s probably still too early to predict their availability Saturday at Arizona State.

From Ken: The Ducks continued to work hard on special teams, and the defense went hard against what is expected to be a pass-oriented ASU spread offense.

Bryson Littlejohn, perhaps Oregon's fastest linebacker, practiced without apparent restriction. Littlejohn was listed on the UO injury report with a hip injury.

Ted Miller has all the details on Colorado's Pac-12 arrival.

Ron Bellamy reports on the family ties involved in the ASU game.

Rob Moseley discusses special teams, which could make the difference on Saturday.

“It’s going to be a challenge,” UO coach Chip Kelly said. “I’ve always said, when you get in this league, especially on the road, special teams are going to be the key.”

Ken Goe has an excellent story on DT Brandon Bair, who is so much more than just a college football player.

He is smart, analytical, prepared, sets goals, and is willing to work hard to reach them.

As UO defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro says, "I would guess Brandon Bair was a great man when he was 9 years old."
