Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Morning Mud
Bob Rickert analyzes the top five things to watch for in fall camp that don't involve the QB competition.

Who'll be the kicker? Defensive tackles/the 3-4 defense? How much playting time (PT) for RB Dontae Williams? Who Gets The PT At DB? All the receivers not named Maehl or Davis?

Marcus Moss at eDuck compares LaMichael James and Quizz Rodgers. Which is better?

You already know my opinion on this subject.

Steve Summers wonders if the returning LB's and DB's are the Ducks best ever?

Ken Goe notes that the Ducks are deep on threats and optimism heading into fall camp.

"Our players understand it's a team game," Chip Kelly said. "We had one kid make first-team, all-conference (departed tight end Ed Dickson), yet we won the league by two games. It's not about having the most first-team players, or any individual awards. It's about having the best team, and the players controlled that with their preparation."
