Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Rob Moseley previews the offensive line going into fall camp and likes what he sees.

The Ducks are in phenomenal shape on the offensive line entering the start of fall camp. All five starters return along with the top two reserves from last season, and into the mix will be added a talented group of redshirts and true freshmen.

Ted Miller previews the defensive end position for all Pac-10 teams and has Oregon in his "great shape" category.

Kenny Rowe led the Pac-10 with 11.5 sacks in 2009, while Dion Jordan was perhaps the breakout player of the Ducks' spring practices.

Three future (2011-2012) non-conference games and have been officially canceled. The home and home series with Kansas St. and Oregon’s visit to New Mexico Sept. 8, 2012.

There are ongoing talks regarding a potential replacement game for Oregon featuring a marquee opponent at a neutral site; playing LSU in Dallas has been widely speculated.

Ted Miller declares, "don't be surprised if Oregon has the number one defense in the conference."

Maybe you shouldn't be surprised with this one, considering eight starters are returning from a defense you could argue was the best in the conference in 2009.

As a side note, I wouldn't be surprised if the defense wins us a couple of games this year.
