Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Andy Mac reports that sophomore RB LaMichael James has earned his second preseason All-American honor after being named to Sporting News' second team ahead of the 2010 college football season.

Ted Miller has a short video his continuing series on the uncertain position for each team in the Pac-10. For Oregon he chose QB. You can watch his video here.

Rob Moseley covers the start of summer workouts and it looks like Nate Costa is focusing on being the leader for the team.

Costa, a senior, took every chance he could Monday to set the tone for the team. The Ducks briefly used a ramp inside Autzen Stadium for drills, and when they ran back to the grass practice fields, Costa was the first player behind Radcliffe. The day wrapped up with some light jogging and change-of-direction work on the grass, and Costa was the first guy off the line for those drills.

GO DUCKS!

I want Nate to start, because I can cheer for him. Darron...not so much. What's that slug doing hanging out with Bluntsoli?
