Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

• Remember our 2005 season, Kellen Clemens was the QB? Our only losses came against USC and Oklahoma in the Holiday Bowl. The loss against USC was wiped from the books, which makes Oregon the Pac-10 champions, right? Wrong.

USC is pursuing an appeal. Whatever the outcome of that appeal, the Pac-10 is unlikely to pass the 2005 conference title on to Oregon; more likely it will simply be left vacant, if the punishment to USC holds.

The Duck players on that team have mixed emotions, you can catch Rob Moseley's story on the player reactions here.

• One of my favorite Ducks is Walter Thurmond III and he was signed by the Seahawks yesterday.

• The Heisman Pundit looks at who gets the most out of the talent they have recruited. Guess who is on the list, that's right, Oregon. Nice job coaches!

GoDucksPodcast with Lord Beverage and Muchas G examine the loss of Jeremiah Masoli and while totally disappointed they give him his due. The guys also talk expansion and save a big DuckU for USC. Check it out here. Totally entertaining podcast.

GO DUCKS!
