Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

The Oklahoman newspaper reports that Pac-10 commissioner, Larry Scott, met with Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. officials yesterday in Oklahoma City.

Nobody is speifically saying what was discussed at the meeting but an assumption can be made that offers/invitations to join the Pac-10 were on the table.

Scott next intends to fly to Texas, where he’s expected to hand out invites to Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

Bob Rickert lists 7 reasons why you should love Colorado joining the Pac-10. Here is the first:

1. It's Boulder. If you've never been. Go. The lifestyle is eerily similar to Oregon's best combination of Eugene, Portland and Bend. 300 days of sunshine a year and a ton of things to do besides watching Oregon beat the Buffs.

...and perhaps my favorite:

4. Shared dislike for Slick Rick Neuheisel. Seriously. Walk around Folsom any Saturday and you won't get much love for their former coach, the way he left, or the reputation for their program that he left behind.

I wonder what those invites look like?
