Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

• Ted Miller is ranking the Pac-10's top 25 players and LB Casey Matthews comes in at #24.

Matthews has made a name for himself despite coming from one of football's most famous families...Matthews earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors in 2009 and has been named to 2010 watch lists for the Lombardi and Lott Trophy awards. He and Spencer Paysinger, who also had 81 tackles in 2009, comprise the most productive returning linebacking duo in the conference.

• The AzCentral reports that Oregon is making a strong recruiting push in their state.

Gilbert Perry defensive tackle Mo Latu and Scottsdale Chaparral offensive tackle Andre Yruretagoyena each recently received football scholarship offers from Oregon.

• The men's golf team slid a little bit yesterday in the NCAA's but will have a chance to redeem themselves today. The top eight teams go to match play and the Ducks are currently ninth.

GO DUCKS!
