Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

In his "spring review" series Rob Moseley rates the special teams players.

Kenjon Barner remains the favorite to return most of the kicks and punts in the fall, but the Ducks appear to have a solid stable of other potential candidates. Cliff Harris has a knack for negotiating up the field and making tacklers miss, and he held on to the ball more consistently this spring, as did Scott Grady. Among the newcomers, both Terrance Mitchell and Dior Mathis look like potential impact players in the return game, too.

Moseley also reports that former Duck, T.J. Ward, could end up being the recipient of the NFL rookie of the year award after a re-vote.

Ted Miller has a "way too early" bowl projection and pegs Oregon for the Fiesta Bowl.

Oregon vs. Nebraska: Ducks lose tiebreaker to USC for the Rose Bowl berth but end up earning an at-large selection here against the Cornhuskers.

Lord Beverage and Muchas G have posted another entertaining podcast for your enjoyment. The guys talk about the top ten surprises of the spring, the Spring Game, Duck U and other Oregon football related news. Check it out if you get the chance.

Well, a Fiest Bowl season isn't anything to scoff at...especially when you have Masoli returning the following year :)
